With Christmas now fast approaching, it’s the perfect time to share some of the exciting illustrative work we have been involved in over the last few months.
Written by Bransby Horses Volunteer Helen Kennedy and the team at Bransby, Pudding’s Christmas Miracle is a children’s story about a little Shetland Pony who is left all alone but then something very special happens at Christmas to change her life forever.
We were delighted to be commissioned by Bransby Horses to bring Pudding and her story to life through illustrations. The character whilst fictional, encapsulates many of the actual horse rescues undertaken by the rescue and welfare charity and has become the children’s voice of Bransby, helping them to talk to a younger audience and drive income through direct sales and merchandise.
The book has been a huge success already, with over 1,500 sales generating income in excess of £10K for the charity. The book and loveable character provide a platform on which to build and drive further income to help support the fantastic work they do saving and protecting the lives of horses.
