Great design begins with deep understanding. In 2024, our creative team embarked on a collaborative discovery phase, working hand-in-hand with the Scottish SPCA to unearth the core of their mission.

One of the most rewarding milestones of our partnership was the creation of Cub Club, the Scottish SPCA’s brand-new junior membership programme.
From initial brainstorming sessions that shaped the Cub Club logo and brand elements, to the creation of vibrant digital assets, we ensured every element resonated with the target audience.
Specifically designed to spark curiosity and empathy in young animal lovers, Cub Club uses vibrant, engaging design to educate young people. Now Cub Club represents more than a membership, it became a movement to ensure the future of animal welfare in Scotland is in safe hands.

Ruddocks’ creative approach to Cub Club took a distinctive step away from the parent brand, resulting in a vibrant, accessible, and engaging identity. The enhanced colour pallete, texture usage and varied nature of the styling choices allow for flexibility to future creative as the requirements of Cub Club develop.
