How the new British Steel brand forged its success.

In 2016, we partnered with British Steel to develop a comprehensive brand strategy, including a new visual identity, messaging framework, and brand voice. This transformation aimed to re-energise staff across their 21 UK and European locations. And the results were significant: within a year, the organisation achieved a remarkable financial turnaround, transitioning from a £126 million loss to a £47 million profit, their best performance in a decade.

A rewarding journey and explosive outcomes.

Employee morale and engagement also saw a substantial boost. And our successful collaboration has continued ever since, with our contract extended twice. We currently manage a range of regular publications, including their monthly internal newspaper, and continue supporting British Steel with ongoing design and branding projects.

The impact of our work on the British Steel brand was also recognised internationally. We are incredibly proud to have received seven design and branding awards for this project, a testament to the dedication of our team.
