Greencore Group PLC is a leading producer of a diverse range of chilled, frozen, and ambient convenience foods. In 2019, they appointed Ruddocks as a strategic design partner, tasked with transforming creative HR communications across the group to drive up recruitment and retention.
As a business benefitting from a culturally diverse workforce, Greencore felt it needed to enhance its internal communications, ensuring they better reflected their deeply held inclusivity values.
They needed to re-ignite their ‘One Greencore’ principles. This would mean breaking through culture and language barriers across every corner of the business, ensuring everyone, whatever their role or country of origin, felt valued, included, and engaged.
Through early discussions with key stakeholders in HR, we knew that a completely reinvigorated design approach was needed to clearly signal a new chapter in employee engagement. We began by developing a unified and adaptable visual language, which would translate well across all assets. The new creative direction established carefully retained enough brand equity to ensure familiarity, whilst evolving away from conventionally corporate, towards a fresher and more relatable look and feel.
