Having worked with the UK’s leading equine welfare charity, Bransby Horses, on several successful projects, we were thrilled when Ruddocks was chosen to deliver a major overhaul of their brand.
This decision came after the Bransby Horses leadership team had identified that, in order to thrive, they needed to redefine their brand positioning and develop a more confident and accessible identity, designed to reach further.
So, we realised we needed to recreate the charity’s brand so that it resonates more deeply with new audiences, while retaining the loyalty of their long-standing supporters.


We are absolutely delighted with the results! Implementing the updated brand addressed many of our challenges and delivered on several essential objectives.

The Bransby Horses brand creation was delivered with one goal in mind: to appeal to a wider audience by reasserting relevance.
In order to achieve this, our team suggested the introduction of a braver brand mark that retains existing brand equity and maintains the familiarity of the original, while future-proofing and boosting clarity of communication across all touchpoints.
Afterwards, we helped the charity successfully roll out the new brand positioning across all printed and digital assets.
As well as this, the full brand refresh was delivered across all fundraising and stakeholder communications, accompanied by comprehensive brand guidelines to ensure the future integrity of the brand is maintained.

One of our key deliverables for the Bransby Horses brand creation project was to ensure that the new mark and associated assets were effortlessly adaptable. That meant delivering a visual tone and graphical style which could travel across a variety of pieces, each with a diverse range of objectives.
Now, the new, emotive visual language drives consistency and meaningful impact. Sitting confidently across all collateral, it simultaneously enhances brand awareness and builds an emotive connection to the brand wherever it’s seen.
This includes Bransby Horses’ vital fundraising communications, which put the charity’s beautiful beneficiaries front and centre.
Combined with simple messaging and an instantly recognisable brand device, this makes them altogether more appealing.
