Relaunching an iconic organisation

We worked with British Steel to create their new brand, including comprehensive guidelines and ongoing rollout, which would incorporate the core values of the organisation and re-engage staff across their 21 locations in the UK and Europe. 

Since launch exceptional results have been achieved, with staff engagement levels up and significant improvement in morale alongside substantial financial growth. Our contract as their design and branding agency has twice been extended and is currently in place until 2020. This means we now manage a number of regular publications including their monthly internal newspaper and also one off projects across the business. 

A brand with impact

Analysing impact is vital and we are proud to help make a difference, one year after launch British Steel reported a financial turnaround of £126m to a profit of £47m, its best performance in a decade. 

An area that had previously been identified to us as vital for future growth was graduate and apprenticeship applications, this saw a growth of 980% in year one alone.

Our work with British Steel has also received international recognition from our industry peers and has now won a total of 7 design and branding awards, something that gives us enormous pride and endorses the hard work of our team
