Charitable Giving.

We are proud to support the excellent work of numerous local, regional, and national charities through sponsorship, work in kind and volunteered time.

One example of our involvement with charitable organisations is our partnership with
The Trussell Trust

As a result of increasing numbers of people relying on food banks a few years ago, we committed to supporting Trussell and Lincoln’s local food banks.

This first started in the run-up to Christmas in 2022, when we launched an internal initiative where food donations were made to the Community Hub at Bridge Church, as well as donations to support the Christmas Sack Appeal. Our staff and the business donated gifts to local people and families who wouldn’t have received gifts at Christmas without this charitable giving scheme.

Supporting the community is not just a corporate initiative – our staff are an equal driving force behind what the business is doing.

We quickly realised the need was greater than just donations of food items. And because food banks exist only because of a network of volunteers who give their time, as well as charitable giving, we also decided to pledge our time.

As a result, our staff were given time off on a weekly basis to offer practical support to the local food bank warehouse and distribution centres. We are proud that more than half of our staff regularly volunteer to support our local food banks, making a real difference where it is most needed.

We plan to continue this initiative indefinitely and keep on offering our time and resources, as we truly believe it is part of our duty as a responsible, community-focused business.
