Ian Benton
Finishing Manager.
Ian Benton has one of the longest careers in our team, having started his Ruddocks journey in 1983 at age 20. Following an initial 5-week temporary contract, he then stepped into a full-time position focusing on shaping paper into final products.
Over the years, Ian progressed to a supervisor role before becoming our Finishing Manager. Ever since, he has been playing a key role in the planning and execution of the final stages of our projects.
Through the decades, Ian has seen many changes in the technology used to support the finishing processes of printed materials. Still, 40 years later, his favourite task remains working on the same machine he started on: the guillotine.
