The Warehouse

While evolving the brand for St Barnabas Hospice, we were also invited to support several additional strategic projects. One of the most exciting was the creation of a brand for The Warehouse, a new flagship retail concept designed to transform their former donation sorting space into a bold fundraising destination.

Located on Cardinal Close in Lincoln, the outlet represents a new approach to charity retail: larger, more immersive, and designed to attract a broader audience while maximising fundraising potential.

From the outset, the ambition for The Warehouse was clear: create a destination that felt true to the building’s industrial roots while establishing a distinctive identity that would stand apart from a typical charity shop. Working closely with the St Barnabas team, we developed a brand that embraces the character of the space, bold, stripped back and confident.

Rather than hiding the building’s past as a donation sorting facility, the identity leans into it. The design language reflects the raw textures and practical nature of the space, creating an aesthetic that feels honest, functional and unmistakably Warehouse.

Once the brand was established, we rolled it out across a full suite of supporting assets. External signage gives the building a strong presence, while vehicle liveries carry the new identity out into the community. Inside the store, wall graphics, point-of-sale materials and custom price tags were designed to complement the bare-bones aesthetic, helping create a cohesive retail environment that feels considered without losing its industrial edge.

The Warehouse provides a space where donations can be showcased in a fresh and engaging way while supporting the charity’s vital work across Lincolnshire.
