Lincolnshire Co-op is one of the strongest and most recognised brands in the county, having roots dating back to the mid 1880s, it has become a local retail leader and we’re proud to have worked with the Society for over 20 years.

As a co-operative it operates under a set of principles which ‘describe a fairer and better way to do business’. It prioritises serving the local community and gives its members a say in how the business operates.

Its values are the core of the organisation, and it recognised that communicating these values, together with its purpose and approach both internally and externally, would play a key role in continuing to grow brand strength.

Following the launch of its Together @ campaign, which was designed to deliver a clear message about Lincolnshire Co-op and what it stands for, we were commissioned to refresh colleague magazine The LINC, one of its internal communication platforms.

We created a new design for the now bi-monthly magazine, which is distributed to over 200 outlets across Lincolnshire, to best reflect and reinforce the Society’s values, whilst incorporating essential Society information together with the regular features and stories currently enjoyed by its colleagues.

The new look magazine has been extremely well received with some very positive feedback.

The refresh of The LINC has been a real success. The team at Ruddocks understand our objectives exactly and work with our creative ideas to design and produce a premium quality magazine that not only informs our colleagues and champions them, but that they really enjoy reading.

Head of People and Performance, Lincolnshire Co-op

Heather continued:

“Our colleagues represent who we are each and every day in our outlets. The LINC showcases all the ways they are helpful, inspiring and trustworthy both in their day-to-day roles and outside the workplace.

“As well as sharing their stories, The LINC also keeps our colleagues up to date so we can be proud of all our successes together and we’re delighted that we are achieving just that!”

Developing relationships with companies who share our values is particularly important to us and is the strongest foundation for successful projects.

Dan commented further:

"As a business with longstanding local roots, focused on supporting our local community, we are delighted to have worked with Lincolnshire Co-op on many projects over the last 2 decades, including marketing campaigns, point of sale materials, membership mailings and community focused initiatives and we look forward to the continued growth of our partnership."
