We are delighted to announce that we have signed a 3-year design and print contract with Greencore, a leading producer of convenience foods in the UK and listed on the FTSE 250.

Greencore is a significant player in their industry, and whilst many members of the public won’t necessarily be familiar with the name almost everyone will have eaten one of their products as they produce 717 million sandwiches and 123 million chilled meals per year and supply every major supermarket in the UK.

We are very excited to be working with Greencore, it is a business with very similar values to ours and the initial work on their internal communications offers some really interesting opportunities to make a real impact and push creativity.

The opportunity came about following a move to Greencore by one of our senior contacts at British Steel. Having worked with Ruth Henstock when she headed up the Communications team during the rebrand of British Steel, we were delighted when she contacted us following joining Greencore as Head of Engagement & Communications.

The Ruddocks team are like an extension of our own, their strengths come from how they get to know the business, build up relationships, and interpret briefs (often sketchy ones!) to deliver engaging outputs that help relay our business messages creatively through a range of both traditional and new channels.

The initial projects have been focused on colleague engagement, the first of which was creative concepts for the re-launch of their HR Shared Services, this involved a detailed illustration and supporting campaign deliverables to promote the new offering and online portal that is now being used across the business to manage simple HR transactions such as holidays and sick days.

We are continuing to develop this style further as it will form the basis of the next set of internal communication projects, delivering a consistent look and feel to help it stand out, whilst remaining within the Greencore brand. We were also delighted to work with the Greencore team to create a series of thank you cards for use as simple recognition.
