To support our ambitious growth plans we are looking for another Business Development Manager to join the team. You will be experienced, driven and client focused, with a passion for the design, creative and print industry.
You will be targeted to bring in new business in-line with our existing clients and project types, as a motivated and proactive self-starter you will come with a proven track record in B2B sales, working with large organisations. Key elements of the role include maintaining a sales pipeline, identifying and approaching new prospects, following up leads from our marketing activity and generally maximising all opportunities.
We’ve built up our reputation since 1884 based on trust, reliability and quality. We believe that working with us should be an easy and pleasant experience and as the first point of contact with prospects you will be the epitome of this.
It is important to have a consultative sales approach, we are about quality not price, your role will include ascertaining need, finding solutions to client problems and then suggesting options from our vast portfolio of services.
A meticulous eye for detail is essential, you will be comfortable influencing and communicating with different levels of buyer in the most appropriate ways, from email and telephone to pitching to panels. With a number of opportunities going on at once you must be able to prioritise and multi-task without ever losing sight of our focus on the client.
You will however not be working alone, together with the existing business development team, you will also have assistance from sales support and estimating as well as access to our internal experts, from specialists in data through to our branding professionals.

This role is not location specific as we service clients up and down the UK, therefore we are open to applicants from different areas. Members of our existing business development team already work remotely so this is something we are all set up for.
